Ive got a special bag just for my fish but I don't know how many to feed so I do 2 a week on like Tuesday's or Monday's.

Okay thanks I'll go to the pet store tomorrow. And I'll definitely work on the overstock situation.

Pimafix is a good one. I use it. Melafix is good too but I forget what it does. Those combined should do it or maybe just pimafix.

Melafix treats bacterial infections, and repairs damaged fins and open wounds. I'll ask about Pimafix.

I googled it and Pimafix is for fungal infections, not parasites. I think the problem is internal parasites.

ask for internal parasite meds. IME, general cure stuff is worthless, and I dont think melafix or pimafix will cure them.

It treats internal and external parasites.

And fungus.

Still doubting. Melafix and pimafix are both bath medications with moreso healing and buffing immune system properties than purging of the digestive system. It takes some pretty heavy duty stuff to kill something that an animal's body can't on its own.

"Treats fungal infections and both internal and external bacterial infections. Will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor water. Safe for reef aquariums and live plants. For use in fresh or salt water. PimaFix has been formulated to work in combination with Melafix to enhance effectiveness against fish diseases. "

That's on API's website for pimafix. And I know for a fact melafix is just for bacterial infections and open wounds. And it's rather weak, at that. So it's only for very minor infestations or cuts.

Still sticking to my advice, don't get any general cure stuff, don't get melafix or pimafix, get something that says it will treat internal parasites.

I believe there is a medication that gets rid of the parasites that the fish actually eat, which I think would be the most effective. But I've never seen it in stores.

For internal parasites, use either General Cure by API or Clout. Both work great
