are much more peaceful than other GTs and others are extremely aggressive, and why does some GTs have shorter rounded dorsal fins, anal fin, etc. and some green terrors have long dorsal fins, etc. and would the rule of 29/30 gallons minimum for a blue acara which reaches 8" would be the same as for a peaceful 8" green terror? because they are both nearly the same color/shape is just that the green terror has "some orange on its fins"

The rounder fins, generally indicate a female, the longer pointer fins a male.
The minimum for a GT 55g (4ft tank) as they reach can reach 12" male, 10" female.
BA reach 6-8" male, 6" approx female, hence the tank size differences, the fins are also the best way of determining sex. Personally I think 40g is best for a BA, others say 30g.

50 Gal for a GT one only. 30 Gal for 1 BA. If you want more fish with them you need a bigger tank.
