A few plants in my tank are doing fairly well (Vallis) although that too is starting to die. The tank is 12UK Gallons and the light in 15WATTS. It is on for roughly 11 hours of the day and the plants get feed plant food every week as instructed on the packet. These are the plants I have in the tank:

Vallis
F Tenellus
Hygro Polysperma
Red Ludwigia
Red Ambulia
Bacora Monieri

Any Ideas?

P.S. The tank is fully cycled.

EDIT - There's 1.5 Inches of Substrate (gravel) around plant bases

Have you got room for a reflector??

Cost about 6.50 from LFS and clip above the tube, They sure do inprove the amount of light a bit!

Why isn't anything growing in my second tank then? The WPG comes out at 2.22
What volume is your second tank?

The WPG rule is only relevant for regular shaped tanks 20 to 60 US Gallons. Below this volume you need more WPG, more volume less WPG.

Plants need light but they also need nutrients to grow well.

I suggest you read through the pinned articles. This should answer many questions you may have.
