I've got a pet rock too, I'd totally recommend one. I have it with loads of other rocks, it doesnt do much though.
Glad the 'pirhanas' are fine.

First rule of fishkeeping - never EVER flush live fish down a toilet. If you cant care for them or dont want them either take them back or find someone who can.

Second rule of fishkeeping - dont ever believe what the fish shop tell you - do your own research

Third rule of fishkeeping - do your own research before buying any fish.

fourth rule of fishkeeping - ENJOY!!

I suggest getting a filter also. As I am sure I read that you dont have one.
