my biggest keyhole cichlid. he's been boosted by default as i gave away the angels. he doesn't have a clue what's going on bless him

sadly the "daddys" in each of my tank are both "mommys" (females). in my one 10 gal it is my first female betta named mercury. followed by my male swordtail liam. (in reality my CAE rules the tank and is uber-aggro with the rest of the other tankmates but he is gone on friday-being rehomed to a friend-so he doesn't count!)

in the second tank there really isn't much of a pecking order. it has all female platies at the moment. but i ould have to say that it would be my biggest female sunset platy. i fondly call her big momma as she is always pregnant. (can't wait until she runs out of stored sperm :/ )

(can't wait until she runs out of stored sperm :/ )

That may never happen..... :S
By then, she will have many a strapping son to get her pregnant. Unless you move them. I had one like that, called her PP (Perpetually Pregnant).

The biggest exodon in my tank. The tank is barely a week old, but the big ex already has a lot of battle scars.

In my 80 gallon it's Aristotle, my oscar. Marie the midas hybrid is constantly challenging his authority, but he puts her in her place. Marie thinks they're a pair, so I guess Aristotle is somewhat of an abusive husband . No one is ever hurt though, no worries.

In my Betta albimarginata tank it's Mrs. albi... the male would like to think he's in charge, but not a chance

great pics!!!
our 'daddy' would probably be our little black mollie we raised from birth...........shes about 1/3 the size of a normal adult mollie & shes over a year old now but rather bolshie!!! she keeps our tiger barbs in line no doubt! in fact i think she thinks she is a tiger barb!! :D

My kribs is the daddy in my tank, but when my pleco glides pasts, the krib kind of shuffles his feet with his head down lol. No body bosses the mean pleco about lol :hey:

My 12" Common Pleco is the daddy. He isn't aggressive but the others naturally back off. I like the gay fish! Animals can be gay so I suppose fish could. :)

My Angel is the "daddy" of the tank too. I would have thought it would have been my Knife fish but not yet.
My pleco probably would be the daddy but he doesn't come out enough to take a place in the hierachry I think but when he does come out, no one gets in his way either.

my sailfin plec is the daddy of my tank he bullys anyone that comes near him or chases the other fish lol but gladly i will be rehoming him to my new bigger tank as soon as its cycled

haha just thought i would post my male swordtail is normaly a bit of a woos well a minute ago he got arrogant my dwarf gourami hasnt been very active so my swordtail wouldnt back down so the dwarf gourami attacked him i think the swordtail learnt his lesson LOL the dwarf gourami resealed his place as number 2 and the 'daddy' of my tank my krib and him are now seemin tense with each other
