well ive being trying to get my fish(2 AT barbs and a cory)

to eat cucumber and other leafy greens, to help improve there diet of flake and danphia paste (tetradeli)

and ive finally started waking up to find only rind left, so somehings eatiing it, and just today i placed a ring

this moring at 8 ish and come back at 4 to find it eaten, my mum thinks its snails but can snails

(common pest version) eat that much? there isnt that many snails in there really,

well i put a fresh peice in and am now trying to spot the muncher/s

hopefully its the fish -_- :/ :D

My money is on the snails, they're hungry little things. BTW....you need more corys, they're a social fish and NEEDto be in groups..

you could say the same about the tiger barbs he has though and their going to be aggressive with 2 of them and the cory won't do alot and be shy and not as active.

:good:

yeh i know about the stocking, they are my first tropical fish and were brought in the first hast, but will be gettign a consiredbly larger tank soon,

so ya think its the snails hmmm grrr

ta anyway

edit: actually the cory is quite active, but i know what you mean, they would be much better in there respective numbers,

i wouldn't put any more corys in your tank if it really is only 4.5 gallons, a nice 10-15 gallon can be picked up pretty cheap and would be a worthwhile upgrade for your fishies, then you could get your cory a friend.

i did see my corys when i had them eat a cucumber to just the rind. so it could be him doing that.
