I'd recommend getting photo's of the fish as I have my doubts about him being able to tell the diff between the tail types (know him personally).

Would be nice if they are HM, but I he sent me pics a while ago of some fish he got from an auction and said they were HM but they were defo VT's.... he wasn't trying on but as he doesn't breed the Betta's he has no idea on tail types.

Male looks to have dragon scaling and the female is virtually cellophane, could be quite a nice cross there, I see David's photo skills have improved slightly LOL.

You'll have to post some nice photo's once they get aclimatised in your tanks.
