In my 15 gallon i have a lot of live plants in there. I have a lot of fish in there although i'm only going to mention my gibbiceps pleco and my 2 chinese (golden) algae eaters. I noticed one of my plants (echinodorus rose) had a lot of holes on one leaf where it had been eaten. The only fish i've seen on the plants is the algae eaters. Also, earlier in the week my echindorus bleheri had the same but worse. So i moved that to my coldwater to grow healthy again and bought two new plants. Within 2 days they had already reached the same condition, something had eaten them. And all i saw on them was the algae eaters.

My tank is being fed algae wafers every 2 days. And the gibbiceps pleco is about 2 inches long.

Who's responsible?

not sure about the plant eating but my gibicep plec will "graze" ie munch alkong the leaves think hes after algae etc rather than actualy eating the plants . maybe somebody with better plec knowledge could give you a better answer . all i do know tho is that a gibicep will need much bigger tank than 15g as it will grow to reach 12 to 18"

Rabbits. JK I just saw your heading and thought about rabbits.

Have you looked for snails???

why wont u list ur fish u have??
and do u have bigger tanks for ur plec and chinese algae eaters?

i reckon it wil be ur gibbiceps

any plec likes to graze on the broad leaves of echindorous species, but they are also very strong so they end up damaging the plant.
