definitely have to fight the mts on a regular basis- mainly cos we also suffer from TSH syndrome or the NMR syndrome ( too small house & no more room)



doesnt everyone have the cash flow probs never have enough??

MTS- Nope. I'm a one-tank person. Would like a really long tank someday and pitch the small one, though
CFP- I don't know....I stopped tallying my aquarium expenses after it went over $200. (Come on! Spend more than $200 on a 10 gallon tank???) And I haven't even bought my fish yet!

How in the heck can you spend over $200 on a 10g tank? I only spent around $70 on my 10g

Wow, $200 for a 10 Gallon is a bit insane. If you would have saved $50 more, you could have bought a 55 Gallon tank.....

If you could have gotten the same deal I got on my 55g at the lps you could have gotten a 55g and it came with a marineland penquin bio wheel 350 filter, marineland 200 watt heater and the hood and light for the tank.

still haven't bought my fish (which I'm buying online again --- guess it will add up close to $100 for this one, it's heavy!!!).

Plus there's the little things like the gravel cleaner, heater, gravel, some ornaments, airlines, airline holders, water purifiers etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on and on... They may seem cheap individually, but the costs add up

Don't have room for 55 gallon, the most I could have right now is 10 gallons.

Why don't you get the fish from your lps, there isn't that many fish you could put in a 10g that you couldn't get at your lps

I made room for my 55g, I scooted my desk over, then I moved my mountain bike over to the other side of the room, got rid of a table, and moved my nightstand just to make room for it.

And trust me, there's no more space in my room. It will look overcrowded. I'll go nuts, I'm a minimalist.

MTS - I have two tanks set up, my 1.5 gal betta tanks. But I am soon setting up the 7 gal with a pair of charry barbs, then moving on to the 2 gal, probably setting it up as a fry/hospital tank but I am longing to have something in it. Soon to buy 40+ gal tank.

APS - Kinda... my parents say I can't buy a new tank until my other ones are in use, which suits me fine. Dad loves me having fish, Mum likes the fish, is forever wanting me to put goldfish in my tanks (even my 2 gal! ) but she doesn't like me having to clean the tanks and throws a fit when I drip water on the floor.

CFP - Of all my fish-induced disorders, this has to be the worst. I have no job but in several weeks we are getting portfolios and I can go job-hunting! At the moment I scrounge birthday money and do jobs.

i got all 3 started with 5uk gal upgraded to 13gal now i got a pearl 80L brilliant looking tank my dream tank is this big one at a LFS must be about 6-8ft long 2-3ft high and 1-2ft wide only cost £800 (only lol) which admitedly yep to big for upper floor but i want atleast 2 more tanks i need one for breeding convicts, 1 for paradise fish, 1 for danios, or similar to provide food to cichlids so def got MTS.
