White Spots

Hi There,
I was wandering if anyone could help. One of my gourami has developed small white spots over the side (3 all together). He appears very well and appetite is good with normal behavior. Water is good etc. Is it worth getting some ich medication just in case.

This is definitely Ich - you should get some medication for the tank and start treatment as soon as possible. Depending on medication, it may take a few days or more to fully treat - read the back of the bottle for specific instructions. If untreated, you could start to notice a reduced appetite, the appearance of the fish "gasping for air" (as if they're having difficulty breathing), or the fish may sit on the bottom and look lethargic.
