Hi, I have found some small white spots on some wood and rocks, im thinking its either snail eggs ( I have 3 nitrite) or some sort of fungus.

what do you think?

Snail eggs perhaps?  Do you have Assassin snails?  Kind of hard to tell exactly as the pics are a bit out of focus.

They're nerite eggs; assassin snail eggs are, strangely, cube shaped!

The only snails I keep currently are Assassins - couldn't really tell the exact shape from the pics and I wasn't sure whether other types laid their eggs singly or in similar jelly blob clusters like pond snails.  Thanks for clarifying :)

Thanks, photos were hard to get as fish kept making the auto focus change and there was none close to the sides only towards the back so a lot of zooming. plus my phones getting old.

they are oval shaped a bit like white sesame seeds.

how do baby nerite snails fair? will a lot of the eggs hatch or will it just be a couple if any?

Then normally need brackish water to hatch.  This is why I prefer Mystery snails over Nerites, They don't lay eggs all over the place, and are easier to feed.

They aren't going to hatch in freshwater.  They just lay the eggs everywhere.

thanks, will they just dissolve or do I need to pick them off?

I'm afraid you will have to learn to love them. I've tried to remove the nerite snail eggs in my tank and it's impossible. You can get them off the glass with a razor blade but getting them off wood or rock is impossible
