Hello

Can anyone help me I have inherited my sons Aquarium and now I need the space and I of the fish is a L001 Glyptoperichthys Joselimaianus Plec around 6 inches in length, I am told these are are quite a good fish and to sell seperately.
Can anyone give me a idea what is ot worth.
Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

The current scientific name is Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus, I think. To the right person, it's probably worth 10-20 GBP, but the average fishkeeper will either take it only for free or pay around 5 GBP at most because it is classed as a "common". It does very much depend on the colour of your individual fish.

Thanks Kat that is good to know will try and find it a good home would rather give it away than sell it not worth the hassle.

Good luck! You might want to warn the taker/buyer that the fish has the potential to grow into the 12-14" region.

Good morning and welcome! :good: Hope you find a good home for the pleco. If you have a hard time finding a home, you could try taking it to your lfs and see if they will take it.
