White spot on pleco?

Hi I noticed yesterday this white spot on my plecos nostril (is that what you call it?), I’m not new to fish/tanks but I am new to plecos altogether. This doesnt look like ich to me and there is only one spot but im not sure, I also cant tell if hes acting weird as they dont move a whole lot. Ive only had him a week but didnt notice this before

If you can get a photo in natural light, that would be better.

Yours looks like a rubberlip, which does have some more necessary care requirements compared to some other plecos. This species absolutely needs a high level of oxygen, especially in higher temperatures and needs relatively harder water. Theyre also delicate to water quality, so it would be very helpful to tell us your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, GH, and also tank temperature.

Being kept in conditions not ideal for this family of pleco can result in health problems for them.
