White Spot On All My Fish After Adding 2 New Ones

You can't add a bacterial med for columaris while treating for whitespot.
The pimafix should help.
For columnaris in the uk myxazin by waterlife and pimafix.Sometimes the whitespot med helps get rid of columnaris.

Being skinny when still eating can
be old age, fish tb, internal parasites, bacterial.

Signs of internal parsites are.
Long stringy white poo, or clear mucas poo.
Worms prutruding from the anus.
Enlarged anus, red inflamed anus.
Fish will look skinny or bloated.
Fish will sometimes swim on it's side.
Sunken in belly.
Bent spine sometimes.
Also the fish will sometimes flick and rub and spit there food out.

Thank you, im not sure about what happened to the shark as i was away visiting my parents for 3 days of xmas and came back to him sunk at the bottom of the tank. No signs of any external disease on him or wounds.

So what would you recommend, my 240Litre tank has 15 tetra's 6 zebra danios, 1 silver shark, 1 clown loach. The clown loach is very poorly, rapid gill movements, staying still at bottom of tank lay on side for long periods of time, just lying on the filter etc. I have treated the main tank with Interpet Anti Whitespot, i have been treating it for nearly 2 weeks, the next dose is due on the 31st. What meds should i buy to try and save the clown loach? The 2 you suggested and stop using the interpet anti whitespot? Take the clown loach out and put it into a 25litre storage container i have with heater and filter?

Does the storage tank have aeration.

I would keep going with the whitespot med and add some pimafix.
I;ve only had whitespot med once and I used the interpet med and it took two rounds.

Whitespot can soon kill clown loaches.
You have removed black carbon from filter.

As long as temp 30, increased aeration, removed black carbon, there not much more you can do.
Only add some pimafix.

Check all your fish for when they go to the toilet.
The other internal parasites signs I left in the above reply.

Ill increase the temperature to 30 just now and leave the airpump on 24 hours a day. I have checked the fish, i have one danio which seems to have a bent spine, its a little more bloated than the others, the other chase it quite often, and it swims to the side to turn around. Im presuming there is nothing i can do for him other than let nature take its course? i have removed the black carbon. I could put an airstone into the storage tank if thats what you mean ?

How old was the danio as there spines can bend in old age.

Bent spine can be old age, fish tb, vitamin deficiency, internal parasites, injury, birth defect.

Keep a look out for when your fish go to the toilet as it could be looking at fish tb to internal parasites with losing two fish to being skinny and bent spine.

The danio is no more than 3 months old, its only really come about in the last 2-3 weeks or so, there isnt anything i can do for him? All the fish seem to go a pale colour when im doing water changes, gravel cleaning etc. One more thing, i can get some pimafix today, should i just treat the my 240litre tank with all the fish in?

If other fish have cotton wool on them treat both tanks with pimafix.

Don't bother with the anti fungus and finrot med by interpet, it's not a very good med in my opinion.
You can't mix it with parasite meds either.

Well i just have the one tank now, 240litres, they all had signs of white spot. All recovered apart from the clown loaches, i put the clown loaches into a 10 litre hospital tank and treated for whitespot and anti fungus, i lost 1 of the loaches and thought it would be best to put the remaining 1 loach back into the 240litre tank and its there now. Im just not sure whether to put him into a 25 litre container with heater and filter and take the water from the main fish tank.

Ok.
Is the main tank still being treated for whitespot.
Once a fish has whitespot best to treat the whole tank rather than move the fish with whitespot.
I wouldn't move him again. Just carry on with the whitespot med and pimafix.
Is the anti fungus and finrot med in the main tank.

If the med instructions say not to mix meds. Don't.

The main tank is being treated for just whitespot. I didnt put the anti fungus and finrot in the main tank, just in the hospital. When i get the pimafix ill just treat the main tank with the whitespot treatment and just see if he makes it, is that right? I appreciate all your help wilder.

You can mix pimafix with whitespot meds.
The reaason why you can't mix some bacterial meds with whitespot meds is that they have some of the same ingredients in them.

Will get some pimafix and add that today, i did read the intructions on the anti fungal but didnt see antthing about not mixing with the whitespot med. Thanks again

Ok.
