White Specs In Water

These are mainly on the surface and the filter anyone know what it is

Keep an eye on your fish and make sure they don't get the little white specks. It could be something simple as sediment but it can also be ick so keep an eye on your fish. Best thing to do is shine a flashlight down on your fish at night and you should be able to see if there is any little white things clinging to them.

Got any snails? If so, make sure they aren't snail eggs!!

Try doing some often water changes and if it is living then the way to get rid of the parasites is normally to add aquarium salt, well this I have read stops them from reproducing and then do the water changes and sponge inside the tank. This might not be the case for all parasites so best to identify which one it is first. If it is possible to send a picture then it could help and there maybe someone on here who may be able to identify it.
