Was looking at the fish today, as you do, but this time I noticed that I had some tiny, fern-like anomalies on my glass. They're affixed by a tiny, tiny point and sway in the current. Upon looking at them under a magnifying glass, they're fern shaped and look, perhaps a type of white algae? It comes off pretty easily and there's only a minute amount in my tank. It's affixed to the glass but none of the plants or wood. Any ideas?

It would be a stretch of the imagination to think of them as 'fern shaped' but perhaps they are Hydra?

It would be a pretty big stretch :p they're definitely aquatic vegetation of some sort. When I say fern shaped, I mean they look like that sort of leave, with long thin veins of leaves rather than simply a rounded leaf on an amazon sword for instance. :/ It's difficult to explain, in any case - they're being scrubbed off the next time I do a water change (in a few days perhaps). :sly:
