Which of the fish in my tank do you lot think would be ok in my turtle tank. I have just bought a marine set up that i will eventually be putting in my 90g so my tropicals need to be re homed. I have a tank with 3 yellow bellied sliders in it and also 4 guppies. The turtle don't bother the guppies so i was wondering which ones will go in there with them? See my sig for my current stocking.
Cheers

As the turtles grow, so will their mouths. I'm guessng the turtles are small, since they haven't consumed the guppies yet. Most pet stores use guppies to feed their turtles. If the fish is the size of the turtle's mouth, it could be consumed. Even a nice sized bala shark could be eaten by the turtle if it was large enough. Relocation of any of these fish would be a bad idea, since any of them are potential food.

I totally agree  . If they are still tiny turtles they may be alright for a short time only....HOWEVER...keep in mind that you may wake up one day to find that your fish are mysteriously missing :shifty:

I am aware that they are meant to eat them but i have seen many tanks on turtle forums with fish in and fully grown turtles and they don't touch them. I will probably just put my tropicals in a smaller tank and tell the missus its temporary and then never get rid....
