My cory are always laying eggs but ive been unlucky in them hatching, except this time a few of them did. I had the eggs in one of those net hatchery's that hang on the inside, i saw 2 babies this morning but they have disappeared when i came home. I think they must of gone through the net as they were so small, what type of hatchery should i use for these small little fry. I am quiet new to ever hatching any fry, i just enjoy my tank but thought i would like a few of the cory's so try my hand at hatching them. thank you.

You should set up a separate tank for them. It's what I've done for all my cory fry, and they get the benefits of not being eaten by the other fish, as well as getting fed several times a day so I'm sure they're getting enough to eat. I have a 15g set up for the eggs and fry, and have a dozen or so red cherry shrimp in there as well. It's set up like my cory tank, with a sand substrate, rocks plants and driftwood. I have a regular filter with a sponge over the intake so no fry are sucked in. It's worked beautifully for me.

A hatchery that I have seen lately is one that hangs on the back of a tank just like an old fashioned filter. It is an empty plastic container that gets its water from the main tank using an air bubbler and returns the water to the tank with an overflow. People in my club have been using them to hatch angel eggs, lots of angels fans in that particular club. A similar product can be found here. I have not found an exact copy of the ones that I saw in person at a club meeting.
The beauty of that kind of hatchery is that it has a constant supply of tank water without taking up room in the tank and with no threat to the fry from other tank inhabitants.
