Which Fert/ Fert And Carbon

2 Questions:

1.) I have FloraPride (Only fertilizer in stock). I wanted Seachem Flourish, but out of stock. What should I do? I can just continue using FloraPride or buy Seachem Flourish and use that. I know they both arent all the nutrient plants need, but I dont want this to be too complicated, because Ill mess up. So stick with my Fert, or buy new? (Amazon Swords, Java Moss, Micro Sword, other not picked out yet)

2.) My Whisper 30 has Carbon in it. Will this remove my fertilizer? The carbon is a week old and Ferts have been added starting 2 days ago. Should I remove carbon and do like a half dose or what?

-29 Gallon Tank
-Whisper 30 Filter (w/carbon)
-Amazon Swords, Java Moss, Micro Swords (States above, but ill repeat)
-Stock cheap lighting (Says F18T8 24". Does this mean its only 18 Watts ? I know what T8 and 24" means. Does the hood/ light fixture have any bearing on the Wattage the bulb can be. Can I upgrade bulbs to a full spectrum 60 watt and keep the same light fixture?
-Currently understocked until I find a kind of fish I like

1) Seachem is better and a well known quality brand, switch to this but use the other up first. But if your plants are already ok, then why bother changing?

2) Carbon removes fertiliser and the metals that plants use, dont use it.

3) Only use a tube that is dsigned for your ballasts, a 60w wont work in your 18w ballast, it isn't powerful enough
