Which Cichlids For 190L Trigon

I have a Trigon 190 that I am removing all my stock from today and want to repace the stock with something more eye catching and interactive (cichlids come to the glass to see you)

The stock that will remain in the tank is a pair of kribs (which breed easily) a pair of agazzi apistos (which dont breed) and some bristlenose plecs. (however i may get rid of the kribs and agazzis if i need to to keep something else....

Do you guys have any suggestions about what to put in the tank, do i go for a breeding pair of 1 type of cichlid such as the blue acara, or do i get multiple species (1 of each), such as blue acara,festivum,firemouth,suggestions??

if you want to breed the fish then go for a pair of something but if you dont intend on this then why get a breeding pair?

maybe look at a species tank of maybe rainbow cichlids, they are very well tempered and you could have dithers in the tank with them with no issues. you might get a group of 4 firemouths/ellioti/aureus in there as adults (im not sure on tank dimensions)but tank mates will be slightly restricted. also its worth taking a look at bolivian rams, if you remove the kribs, these are wonderfull and very playfull fish to keep with excellent colouration too when settled and you could have a very good sized group of them along with a group of tetras to accompany them. bolivians get overlooked as they are normally dull and grey and next to gbr's in lfs tanks but in a good numbered group and when settled in the colours are great

going for 1 of many different species looks a bit odd to me i much prefer groups of same species fish. i had a 6.5x2x2 filled with one of these and one of them and it just didnt look right. all the fish were truely stunning individuals, as can be seen in my journal link in my sig below, but just didnt look right all mixed up together for some reason......
