I'm looking for an Airpump that i can put a stone on to put some more air into a 5 gallon tank (Aquastart 320)

Can anyone suggest which i should get.... i dont want to end up getting one thats too weak or worse, one thats way too overpowering

I highly reccomend the tetratec air pump, they are amazingly quiet and very good.

or you could go the other way and get a cheep pump, the above mentioned pump is likely to cost more than your tank. Willkinsons do a perfectly respectable pump, it will handle a 6 inch stone, for £4.99 last time i looked.

fair comment. though i was looking at the general new price. but you make a fair point. personally i have never had any luck with second hand pumps.

Turns out its more than powerful enough, in fact in have it on about 50% or else it blows my neons round the tank :p

got a big ole air stone for like 90 pence too, lovely
