I see your in Oxford, have you tried my favourate fish shop? The gold fish bowl? They had some in last time I was in there. If not ask Barry the shop owner if he'll be getting any in soon, they seem to order stuff each week.

try ebay...
some of the ebay sellers also have an online shop...

I think dwarf riccia is quite hard to get hold of! I remember jimbooo ordered his from abroad somewhere.

I'll give them a bell, last time took me near 30 minutes trying to navigate to the right bit of Cowley lol

That would be interesting considering that it's illegal to ship in any live (plants, animals etc.) into the UK -_-

But sorry, don't know where you can find it online.

It's legal to import plants etc into the UK, providing you have a license. Virtually all plants that arrive into England come from Asia, and arrive with what is called a Photosanitary license; this means it has been checked for pests and diseases.

Sorry of course - I meant as an individual person of course :)
I am fully aware that plants and fish are imported all the time - but unless you have the correct licensing (which for a single indivual as a once off would be expensive and hard work) - it's not possible.

So what I meant was, we can't just get a mate from outside the UK to send in some plants or buy stuff from Aquabid - without going through the correct channels and licensing.

Yes - is it worth getting caught ? Did you see the report in last month's PKF ?
Not worth trying to break / circumvent the law in my opinion !

Fancy a very hefty fine or some time in jail ? :) Just thought I'd highlight what a lot of people don't know (or chose to pretend not to know) about the law.

Bloo, it isn`t hard to get a liscence its just quite expensive! I only know cuz i have looked into it to get my crystal red shrimp imported in. And to be honest, if the guy jimboo got it from was a plant seller he probably had contacts and a liscence anyway!
Sorry just wanted to but in, cuz i was gonna say that to your original post before Richard commented.
