Ok, so its a 26 gallon, but its supposed to be 30 gallon. Anyway, I need a stand for an aquarium that is 30 inches long and 12 inches deep. (23 inches high, if that matters.) It came with a black cast iron stand (I think?), but my dad dosen't like it and wants something different.

What is the best way to get a different stand? Order one from Petco or something, or is there a good online dealer/shop? Neither of us are good with woodworking, so we can't make our own.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated. :good:

Actually, you might want to get a 29 gallon stand because 29 gallon aquariums are 30" long, while 30 gallon aquariums are 36" long. To find the best price, you might need to shop around. I'm a cheapass, so if I was in your situation, you'd see me going to 4 stores looking for the best deal. I wouldn't buy one from the internet unless there is free shipping, and the price is right.

I bought the below for my tank (29G 81cm long tank)

Awesome price, real wood, looks nice, much better than the 'orrible chipboard cheaply made, stands you buy specifically for fish tanks (and cheaper than them)

They had loads when I bought mine, have a look see if they got more.

Thanks both!

I'm in the US, so I'm not sure that shipping from the UK would be cost-effective?

Walmart sells nice fish stands by me. In fact they sell a nice set up period when it comes to tanks as well. Also, the price isn't too bad either. ;)

I don't know what the walmarts by you sell, hopefully you can find one there.

Good luck :good:
