I will get the camera back on mine when odin's tail has regrown a bit more.....because his colours are more vibrant than ever at the moment, what lucky fish mum's we are!

Deffo, my little goober has made his first bublle nest its adorable!

is goober the fish you'll be breeding from?
I'd love to get into breeding bettas....but I think I deffo need to run the gauntlet of experience first....it's amazing how much there is to absorb about fish!
I've learnt so much already in the past 2 months!

I may breed goober with the VT female i have, but im hoping to breed my new SD's....
but wont be doing that til after Xmas, ive read up and read again lol
And then spoke to some others so i know all i can until the experience.
I want to use my VT pair as a colou experiment... see what colours they have in them!

How do you mean??
I was very gutted, before I could get a betta for my tank I saw the most beautiful marbled, almost dalmation white, with pink/purple patches VT male......I tried to get the store to hold him for me, but they wouldn't and alas, next time he was gone!

All the VT's ive seen are purple/red/turqoiuse!
woooow gutted i bet i would have cried!!

my VT is a mixture he's got deep cerise pink in him which is showing more...and seems mostly a sort of midnight blue, which has grown more electric under the light since I got him some nicer food.
Yeah I was well upset....that LFS get pale orange VT's, I've seen hot pink crowntail in ther before.....they have oplaine sort of white colours often......I was gonna get mine from there but when it came to the day I wanted to get one, all their pretty ones had once again gone.....but next time....I'll get a properly nice one, maybe from there or maybe via some of the people off here

OOHHH yourr soooo lucky my pets at home has eeeer a choice of brown looking VT, a dead VT or a few nearly dead VT's!
i saw a white one with a bright blue edge round his tail, the tank wasnt ready so i had to eave it, went back the next day and the tetras were picking at his carckass

your not that far from me lol i thought you were in the US lol
