Where To Buy Wooden Hoods?

Does anyone know anywhere in the midlands that sells wooden tank hoods on their own (i.e. without a tank or stand) or failing that somewhere that will build one for me? Metal hoods just aren't catproof.

if u need cat proof try a lid with a lock or eat the cat!!!

i dont believe there are any wooden aquarium hoods. the condisation from the water would cause them to go bad in about a month.

When your cat gets up there just spray him with a water bottle, a few douseings and he'll never do it again.

Metal hoods just aren't catproof.

i dont believe there are any wooden aquarium hoods.

I believe a wooden hood is usually called a canopy, and if you buy prefab ones they generally match the stand.

wow srry i didnt think catproof was one word so i didnt see any "cat" posted in there.

Never heard them referred to as canopys tbh, must be different terminologies either side of the pond. Whatever you call them, wooden ones are fairly common in the UK but they're not easy to find without buying a stand and tank as well.

I've seen DIY plans but I'm REALLY bad at DIY so don't even want to attempt it.

you can have a wooden hood just as long as you have a condesation sheet i could make you one easly but its posting the dam thing try going to pets at home if you really want one making give me a shout and ill price the hood and postage up

If you lived close enough to collect I'd take you up on that but I'd imagine postage would be pretty high, thanks anyway.
