Where do you buy your fish?

Only from the LFS that I help out at. We have over 200 tanks and I have the luxury of being able to order anything on our suppliers' lists. This is a good and bad thing as there are just too many cool fish, not enough tank space !! More tanks !! More, more more !!!

my lfs, and petsmart, mostly my lfs because my friend works there (discount) and the staff actually know something about the fish.

I probably won't get any at Pets at Home, only maybe Male Bettas if I get another tank and a heater because the nearest fish shop only does females.

Yes, it's a Violet Goby Gobioides peruanus the freshwater variety.

I mainly use my LFS Porton pet & aquatics. Also Creture Comforts (bed spelling sorry)

but do use, maidenhead Aquatic's in Southamton, Wimbourne, Swindon and Havent.

I think thats all.

All of my current stock was purchased online here: http://www.ohiexchange.com/armke/list.htm

Highly recommended.

My tank and other hardware was purchased from 2 different LFS about 40 minutes from me that I find to be the best in the Boston area. I go far out of my way to patronize them, even though their prices are a little higher than the bigger, closer chain stores.

I buy from either "Fish Pros" in Raleigh, NC (when at school) or from "Aquamains Fish store" in Greensboro, NC (when at home), now I have bought fish from another fish store "Fish World" in Raleigh, NC but after talking with someone that works there and them giving me a load of BS about fish I doubt I'll ever shop there again. I also used to work for petsmart and have gotten a few fish from there for my parents tanks, and after reviewing my Raleigh Petsmart I may consider purchasing from there if/when I need more fish, as I was amazed at how well there aquatics department was kept up and stocked (1 dead fish out of all of their fish, and the selection was great anything from neons to ornate bichirs and dwarf puffers).

Most of my fish come from aquabid and breeders, but I also have a "lfs" in Colorado that carries really healthy stock
