this might be a weird question, but if your fish is too big to flush, and it dies... what do you do??

chuck it? bury? i'm just wondering, because i know some people are more sensitive than others about it.

Flushing any fish is a BIG no no, dead or not!

If it is dead, wrap it up on a bit of paper and put it in a bag. you can then chuck it in the bin. if its alive, you have to work out how to kill it, quit a few threads on that subject, then do the same thing.

I just bury them (about 3 spades deep) My wife puts 'em in the deepfreeze & when the litter is collected, she puts them out in a sealed plastic bag.

Reminds me... I once had a family at the front door, with a dead goldfish, which I had to tell 'em what's wrong with it.... I merely said that it is dead and chucked it over the back fence into the veldt.... Oh!! my!!.... big mistake!!!.... They climbed over the fence & retrieved the body for a proper burial ceremony....... (how could I be so insensitive)??

Yep wrap it up and put it in the bin, you shouldnt flush them, you could risk spreading a disease into the local water source or something like that :p

feed them to angel

and minx the watersupply here in summer was contaminated with cryptosporidium from a dead rabbit in the supply so nobody could drink tapwater for about 4+ weeks i dont remember how much exactly. so yes its a real threat. just get an african sidenecked turtle. but not a white one like mine ;)
