Whats Your Opinion For Stocking?

Now that some of you know the problems my tank has had, some will know everything is much better now. I don't really plan on getting anything this month, but, I would like to, depending on how my fish do, get some more fish. What can go with the fish I have. ( I don't want anymore live bearers)
Current stocking:
4 asst. platys
2 dalmatian mollys
4 neon tetras
1 silver lyre-tail molly
Tank is a 29 gallon(110 L) I am running 2 Aqueon filters that pump a total of 500gph(about 1893 liters per hour)
I would really like some kind of shark, or active catfish. I also have about 4tbsp of aquarium salt in, but I am willing to take the salt out with the next few water changes I do. Thanks

You should get a few nore neons, as they do much better in shoals of 6+. I don't think there are any sharks suitable for a 29g tank.

Is your water hard or soft and what substrate do you have?

Should have probably told you that. The PH is about 7.4 and the substrate is coarse aquarium sand(not like play sand)

Does the sand feel rough or sharp when you rub it between your fingers? If it doesn't, you could look at one of the many Corydoras species (but they do need to be in groups of at least 6); if it does, how about a bristlenose?

Oh no the water is natural spring water, Its not hard at all, The sand is little round granules ,looks like table salt, I was hoping for something a bit more active than a bristlenose.

I was going to suggest the Corydoras - if you can find them the black ones are nice and shark like but a bit expensive.

+1 for more neons but make sure you get good stock as some neons are weak and carry diseases.

In a 30 gallon it could be time to start thinking of some kind of feature fish, like Cichlids or Gourami. I would go for Dwarf Cichlids maybe things like Red Breasted Acaras or Bolivian Rams. Dwarf Flag Cichlids would be good as would keyholes.

The Bristlenose that fluttermouth suggested would be good but there are other fancy plecos that would work - personally I prefer whiptail catfish to plecs though as they are slimmer and produce less waste.

Thats more of what I am looking for, a "feature fish". Something that will really pop and catch the eye. I should mention I really don't want to spend more than $15 on 1 fish.

Red tailed black sharks need a larger tank, and most African cichlids are far too aggressive for community tank.

You might get away with kribensis, but it does depend on the individual fish. I'd recommend Bolivian rams, if you'd rather have a cichlid than the catfish.

Its hard to really find something like those rams because I dont have a good LFS by me so I would have to order them. The fish that I want like balas,RTBS, columbian shark, are all far too big for my tank. What about a Raphael catfish?

Yeah I can travel some I guess. What do you think about a Raphael catfish?

No; they're not very long, but are incredibely bulky; also quite shy; ours doesn't come out much, sorry!
