I have a cycled very clean take.  There are no fish in it right now and I use Leaf Zone as fert.

1. My anacharis stubs I got in don't seem to be growing.  They look rotten and have been falling apart.  :/ Am i doing something wrong?
2. My anubias has tons of black and some hair algae.  I try and clean it off, but it keeps growing.  Is there a way to get rid of it?

3. My java fern plantlets that are on the big plant look sort of see-through.  Is that normal?

Thanks!

Too much light/Not enough CO2

I personally would always add a complete fert with Nitrate and Phosphate, even more so if you have no livestock.

Is there a liquid mix of all I'd need that I can simply dose once a week or anything?  Some of the dry mixes are so complex! :p

Right now I do 5-6 hrs of light a day.  For now until I figure things out should i do less?

Normally I'd say 5 hrs, so it sounds like they're also too strong - possibly try shading or raising them up.
I think you can get Tropica in the US - that's all in one. Otherwise you could suppliment your API with Seachems Nitrogen, and Phosphourus.

HTH

That's the stuff. If you're happy with less hrs than you already have that's fine. If you search in these sections somebody used some kind of plastic bath screen to shade their tank...
