What's Wrong With My Rasbora? =[

Just came home and my rasbora was swimming funny, like trying to make an effort to keep himself upright. I noticed this mark on its tummy, anyone know what it is and if it could be the reason for the weird swimming? It looks like a bite, but I haven't noticed any aggression in my tank?

Looks like ammonia poisoning. What are your parameters, tank mates... you know, the usual.

I'd cleaned the tank that day so my levels are fine. Ammonia is always at 0 as I test all the time! None of my other fish are like it. He seems to be ok, swimming much better.
My stocking is cherry barbs, neons, rasboras, cories and 2 GBR's.

ammonia poisoning will attack the gills, this hasnt, they are normal. Its either had a mishap in the tank, got caught on something or your GBR has had a go at it. It doesnt look too serious, it might right itself in a few days.

I would increase the water changes in the meantime. The cleaner the water, the easier healing will be.

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately he died whilst I was at work =[ I think someone must have attacked him. I still have no idea wether my rams are both male as I haven't had a reply in my other thread, they have shown aggression towards each other so maybe he got in the way?
I've also forgot to mention the 2 baby angels I am currently looking after!! I have been offered them but wanted to see how they go, they are TINY though, like the smallest I have seen, there's no way their mouth is even big enough to cause that mark. Plus they tend to just dot along doing their own business.

Just seen this. It happened to one of my harlequins too. I'm 100% certain nothing attacked it, it was more like a sore. Perfect water readings. Anyway it got worse and I euthanised it. Never seen it happen on any other fish.

Hmm perhaps it was a sore then? Like I say, other than the rams sparring with each other I have a pretty peaceful tank! He was one of my oldest fish, back from when I had my tiny Fluval edge! So at least 2-3 yrs old, still sad though =[
