I haven't seen any movies this year. Damn computer and internet, and damn fish forums :)

I thoroughly enjoyed Dark Night and Quantum of Solace
I'd never seen the Bourne trilogy before and I loved those to the pint where I'm watching them again this week and thinking nearly my favourite films ever

worst film... easy I am Legend. What a pile of overrated poop that was

Iron Man and Tropic Thunder, havent seen many others this year.

HollyWood produced, not one, worthy film in 2008. though Hancock got close.imo the only films i think are worthy of praise came from independent sources. and, for the most part, were not made for an English speaking audience. If only the US makers had not balls'd up "the day the world stood still".

by far the best film this year has to be SHOOTER, on blu-ray, it was ace, a sniper story about a former military man who gets framed and has to take out the people who had framed him killing the U.S president.

and then Rambo, the latest one out on blu-ray, the graphic detail was ace, how can they make it that real

anyone who hasnt got blu-ray or a ps3 get one, its the best thing your every do, film wise

I was going to mention Rambo, on Blu ray. Visually stunning quality. the detail, when people were being dismembered, was awesome. but the script the star and the story were woeful.
as for quality, many of us have graphics cards capable of 1,920x1,080, indeed some will be able to excede it, i know gamers who play Battlefield Bad company @ 3840×2160( try that on a Ps3). so why bother with a silly spinning disc and the attendent, mechanical gubins, when it could all be solid state. h264 mpeg can exceed the quality of current Blu-ray.

ps sorry forgot this bit, Many TV's now have both DVI and HDMI inputs. as the quality, or "claimed quality" of your cable has no effect on the quality of your signal. you don't even have to spend a fortune on a cable to connect it to your Pc.( "digital" doesn't matter a hoot how badly degraded you 1 or 0 is, it will produce a perfect result, when read by a Processor)

il amen to that, my computer was custom built by my cousin. it has neons in it that flash to the music. beat that with your ps3.

Iron man, The Hulk, Role Models, Step Brothers, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS!!!, Tropic Thunder, Batman (the Dark Night), Walk Hard...i've seen more but these are the only ones worth mentioning...oh and The Day The Earth Stood Still was one of the worst movies i have ever seen!!
