What's Going On With My Female Platys?

Can anyone shed any light on why my two adult platys seem to have issues, in one seems really grumpy all of a sudden towards the other one although normally fine and will seek her out just to chase her off....and my two 8 week female platys seem to be also having issues as in one is chasing the other, then the one being chased keeps coming up and ramming the other one then sort of hovering beside her looking almost like she's showing off!!!

How big is your tank? Sounds like it could be a turf war (fighting for territory). You could try adding a male platy into the equation and see if that disperses things.
