Whats A Hardy Algea Eater

i think i have had them before i bought a plant and i got one on and it had eggs and OMG there was loads of them

no eggs from a trumpet snail, they are live breeders :) I'm not sure what's wrong with my trumpet snails, they've only added 3 to their numbers since I got them in June :(
 
In my opinion malaysian trumpet snails are a lot better for your tank not only aesthetically but for general cleaning purposes.

You need a good group of them to get a population started in a bustling tank, but once going you will have an endless supply of algae grazers who will only really appear at night [if you have enough hiding spaces for during the day]. They also prove to be a good substrate disturber, which is especially good for sandy substrates.
