What Would You Do?

Hi mel, this thread is so funny it prompted me into my first post
You need to check size of stand, it may be longer than tank!
You could remove the end panel from your wall unit ( it looks about 30mm from here) or maybe you could cut it flush with the bottom of the wall unit.

p.s. You will also have to move the cat

LMFAO!!! How funny! Love it.

The TANK AND STAND ARE BOTH 81cm lol

It's the bloody wall that is short NOT THE FOOKING STAND PMSL

 Ohh Mel, you crack me up.

Well, 1cm isn't that much but I think it would bug my brain :p

Lol exactly, a bug bear
I could always stick a bit of 1cm thick plasterboard in the recess to the door way haha that would sort it ;)

 I know
get rid of that panel on your wall unit, that lump of wood above your tea towel lol it will give you 30mm to move tank away from end of wall lol, Gettit?

The cat needs to move approx 50cm towards the centre of the room

Personally I'd go for the 40 gallon, the other one has the accessories and everything but you've still got £35 to play about with after you've paid the initial £75 - orrrrr you could totally get the price down for having to buy so much stuff ;)

*seriously considers hacking off useless bit of supporting wood*

go on u know u want to

go for the 40G Mel,

Much more fish and you won't end up catching your toes on the bottom of the overhanging stand :hyper:

Oh yeah I knowww more volume but that's the only real thing it has going for it, the amount of work it needs is just irritating. But I'm still considering it!

It's now been reduced to £55

So it's £55 for the 40 gallon that needs the work but is a better width and £110 for the wider tank with less volume that does have the external filter included and is closer to me... annoying decision to be making

Oh hold on I've just done some maths and they are pretty much the same volume so scrap that 40 gallon thing

They are basically similar measurements except one is slightly wider the other is slightly taller

£55 one is lighter melamine beech colour, but my kitchen is darker beech - the colour of the £115 one

Still can't decide :p

Oh bloomin''eck now a THIRD Option presents itself! In the form of a black Juwel Lido 120. No external filter. £80.
Why do I have to have CHOICES!
