Hey all,
I have an issue,
got 3x Neon tetras and NEED more due to their small numbers,
But I have this one tetra that has a gill missing (Bought her like it) and I love her to pieces because of this if that makes sense,
But sadly this is making he susceptible to cotton wool fungus on her mouth.
I have treated for well over a month with no luck,
the others catch it but quickly goes away (only minute ammounts) so they are nice and healthy
So she is causing mayhem to be honest in that aspect,
but she actively courts with the males and seems so happy.
My dilema is should I buy more tetras and see if that reduces the stress and she might recover fine...
Seperate her and she lives alone (horrible idea but still chucked in there)
Or do I do the unthinkable (you know what I mean)
I clearly don't want to do it as I couldn't even manage to hurt the pesky damsel fly nymphs I had.
What would you lot do...
p.s she recognises me for food so makes it even harder......
