Red is fairly dominant so a fair few babies will be red.
Is the mum purple or blue?! Cant really tell from the photo but you will end up with some blues and purples either way.

Without knowing their history it can be difficult.
My fry are turning out blue wash, red wash, purple wash and white from a blue mum and a purple father. I own the mums sister too and she is blue washed so... Unless you know the siblings or parents it can be hard to say what you will end up with.

100% Veils, 90% reds if not more, some with blue wash, you may get the odd blue fish but its unlikely as red is the most dominant colour

You cant fully know the outcome without a genetic trait backround as red is a dominant color. while there could be a recessive trait in there and you could easily end up with different colors. the same goes for fins. who knows. he might have a recessive short finned gene in there

VT is dominant over all other tail types, if you use a Veil in a spawn you'll get all Veils even if you spawn with a halfmoon.

Pretty much the same with red, and since the female has red wash a large majority will be red

hmm. okay. I am relatively new to breeding so I am still leaning genetics. i would have though that when you bred a veil with a PK. then bred the siblings together, you would have had 25-50% of the next spawn being PK and the other being VT. and the same would go for color...... sorry

breeding 2 siblings completely changes things, for instance if you wanted more PKs you'd spawn the 2 siblings showing short fins *there'd be few to choose from but anyway* You'd look for PK finnage, short anal fins, dorsal shapes etc, then from there spawn you'd get probably 25% PKs, 50% VTs then the other 25% VTpk.PKvt *lower case is the recessive gene*

Hope that helps a little :)

no worries Genetics was 1 of the things i loved doing at school, my fish keeping helped no end with projects and things :)
