i bought a Pike cichlid, the guy told me it was a saxatalis but having looked on the internet i cant find a picture,
he has red eyes with a horizontal black stripe and some white pearling on his fins
i cant take a pic as he is hiding in a log, but he looks just like the one in this guys tank from youtube?
anyone able to ID it?

mine doesnt have as many plac spots along its side i dont think, just the one big one behind the gills.
it looks like it has flowerhorn markings actually
