What To Replace My 2 Gouramis I'm Getting Rid Of With

I had 3 blue gouramis in my 20g and i decided to bring 2 back to my LFS so that i had more room for danios and such (as i have 3 and need at least 2 more for a healthier school) but what else should i get?

5 albino corys
1 blue gourami (after i ditch the other 2)
3 purple danios

You've got a lot going on in the top and bottom of the tank but that gourami will probably hang around the middle, so I'd see if you can get some kind of fish around the middle.

That's probably a good idea, but why are some relatively fast mid dwelling fish? (god I'm so new at this)

Depending on the size that gourami will get, tetras wouldn't be a bad choice.

Something like penguin tetras, or maybe cardinal tetras?
