my dad bought me a new 75 gal. i want it to be a community tank.what can i put in it?

What do you like?

Tetras?

Dwarf Cichlids?

Gouramis?

Livebearers?

Personally (wish I could set my tank up from new again) I would go a small schools of glowlight tetra (8), a small shool of rummynose Tetra (8), a pair of brislenose catfish, a pair of apistogramma (cacatoides) and a pair of German blue Rams. Plant the tank quite dense, get some CO2 in there, also lots of caves and/or bogwood for refuge and it will look ace! But thats just my opinion, guess its up to you what you like really flakes.

Cheers,
Bricko

get a good balance. its good having top, middle, and bottom swimmers/feeders so you can have more fish. top feeders rarely go below the halfway between top and middle...middle will swim in all parts of the tank, but bottom swimmers will rarely go to the top or middle.

:) If you want to breed, go with platys/mollies/swordtails/guppies. :) They're also beautiful

Get a rainbow shark/ bala shark / columbian shark? :)
Crabs?

Gouramis? (Blue, Red, Yellow, Pink)

Tetras. :D
Chinese Algae Eaters

Shrimps. (Yamato, Cherry, Ghost..)

Thats most I can think of.
