What To Do If Over Run By Fry?

Fish fry being eaten is just nature my friend, when i bred guppies i would always put the overstocked fry in with my bala's and angels, even my tetra used to chase them around. It's a great source of nutrition, and completely free!!

yea when my oscar gets the taste hes gonna be one fat oscar.

i jus have a little sympathy for the lone father cos i already took his mate about 2 days after the fry hatched.

hes a great looking fish and i dont want him stressing himself out.

First, I used to have a pair of convicts in with an oscar, and I never had a single fry survive. Oscar liked it though.

Second, when I used to breed fancy guppies, All of the substandard offspring would be feed to my Oscar. All of the mature fish that I was dissatisfied with would be fed to the cat. I would net them into his bowl and he would carry them around for at least fifteen minutes before eating them. He acted so proud, it was like "look master I just made a kill, give me my do adulation."

Dumb cat, but I liked him

I hardened my heart recently and put some baby guppies in with my angel fish ......

I now have a fit and sprightly little colony of guppies living above the bog wood in the angel tank
