Hey,

I have a 30 gal fish tank, with good hiding space and plants. The plants are not live.
The tank holds:
- 1 black skirt tetra (long-finned)
- 4 Lemon Tetras
- 6 Neon Tetras

Now what shud i add ??
I've kept mollies, platy's, guppies, swordtails, and other tetras. Looking for something new. Maybe in the catfish category, not sure.

Any advise??

Would rams do fine ??
And what cory / pleco would be suitable for the tank?

A Bristlenose pleco would be fine, they only grow to about 4-6 inches. Catfish can be a bit boisterous and I don't know how they would react with smaller fish.

So how bout 1 bristlenose plec and 1 pair of rams, 1 male and 1 female.
Wud that work?

I'm not sure about the rams because I think they need a certain Ph. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out there.
If you're looking for fish how about Harlequins or Minnows. They're peaceful and add a little bit of colour to your tank.

I've already kept Harlequins and they seem to not do well.
And i dotn really think minnows bring color, but thats just me.

I'll go check my ph and stuff, and post here.
Until then, any other suggestions?

What would be better suited for the tank
Cory's or bristlenose plec?
Planning to keep them with a pair of German Blue Rams aswell. No real plants as of now. I'll try to start and adventure into the basic plants - Java moss, Java fern so on ...
And there is a decent amount of hiding space in the tank.
