What Snail Is This?

Hi,
 
Found this snail in my tank during a water change. 
Would like to know if anyone can identify it also do i need to remove it due to eating my plants and over population etc....

tadpole, its a pest IMO, also if theres 1 theres more, have a look at assassin snails to get rid of them

Oh crap! ok thanks will get rid of it. got a feelings it came off a plant i bought recently

most likely, they dont eat plants and dont really do much harm, but they can fill a tank and dont look attractive
