Just done a water test of my tropical fish tank below are the results, i just want to know if they are about right?
Amonia 0 - .25
PH 8.0
Nitrate 10
Nitrite 0

Ideally Ammonia and Nitrites are zero and Nitrates preferably 25 or below. PH will depend primarily on your local water supply but can also be affected by certain rocks or driftwood you put in your tank. What PH you want will depend on what kind of fish you want to keep. African Cichlids generally need higher PH (8.0 would probably be pretty good) while many of the community fish need more in the 6.5-7.0 range.
