If you want a bottom dwelling algae eater that's smaller than a pleco, go for a Chinese algae eater or an Otocinclus Catfish!

Can't agree with that I'm afraid Seanus, not in a Cichlid tank. Neither of those fish would last 5 minutes with Mbuna, even labs.

Some type of scavenger/algea type guy. Like one of those plecs that dont get really big or sumthin.

Have you considered bristlenose catfish? Just beware....if you end up with a male and a female they will breed you out of house and home

What about a Raphael? They have some "spotted Raphaels" at the LFS for like 6$ I like those a lot.

What do these guys like? Can i do just a single one? or do they like groups? Id like to do one single bottom cat, if at all possible, being with my tank pretty much full now. I like Bristlenose too, but i havent seen then anywhere around here...
