Ok guys, I have just got back into fish keeping and decided that I want to breed some fish again.
I was thinking about wild guppy or endlers but I need something that a LFS would take for sure.
Here is the set-up.
I have a 30g with 1 angelfish and 1 cory cat so this will be used as the adult tank.
I have a spare 20g that has been set-up and running for a few months now empty (filter media is in the 30g) so this will be used as the fry/growing tank.
I have successfully bred guppy (real challenge huh? LOL), beta, goldfish, and koi. So I am relatively experienced in tropic breeding.
I have a brine shrimp DIY factory set up from when I bred betas so all I have to do is order some new eggs from brine shrimp direct.
I'm just looking for some info on what you guys think I should breed. I'm doing this for fun but I'm also looking to make a little profit off this by selling the young adults to some local fish shops.
I was thinking about convics also but not sure if the LFS would buy them and/or if my angelfish would like the convics. (my angelfish is very very very calm)
I should probably add that I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on some breeders.
