I have a 17 gallon tropical, heavily planted, with caves and sand substrate aquarium that is stocked with:
- 3 guppy
- 3 neon tetra (temporary)
- 1 sun-set platy
- 3 bronze cory (and about 15 cory fry 1-2cm each)

They are all really friendly and my water stats are brilliant:
-0 ammonia
-0 nitrite
-40 nitrate

The question is, what fish next? I really have no clue, i want something that doesnt get to big, but has nice colours and is good in a community tank. Can you help?

Cheers,
Imogen :flowers:

Hello Imogen what next?

When I ask myself that question I go to the fish species index here in the forum http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/forum/36-fish-species-index/

it helps by giving you some great pictures of the fish and also a bit of info on the fish I also find going to my LFS (local fish shop) and having a good look at the fish in person helps even more for me the important thing to remember is one do not bye anything there and then, go home and research the fish and two please do not listen to any of the staff very few are any good they are more interested in the sale.

You will obviously have to take into account your water conditions I.e its P.H also the requirements of your current fish I.e. water flow, temperature as well as the volume of your tank.

Hope this gives you some food for thought.
