What Kind Of Fish Can I Get?

I am not too sure about the 3 zebra danios in a 10 gallon. They are very active fish who need more space to move, and really a bigger school, otherwise you can get serious aggression problems. We do get a fair few posts where there are problems with danios in confined circumstances, and non-schools.

Platies, though not schooling, are social fish who very much prefer company.

I would do:

3 platies (females)
3 khuulie loaches
3 pygmy corys

OR:

1 honey gourami
3 khuulie loaches
4 pygmy corys

ok, i got some more questions:

would i be able to put in a bengal loach (i know theyre supposed to be in groups but i think he'll be okay, maybe not?) or some cherry barbs and what would i have to take out to put them in?

i love loaches so much though!

its okay, im just trying to find a way to possibly get some other loaches (kuhlis are awesome but i like others a lot too)

i have no way of getting any money.

i am still too young to get a job *sigh*

i am lucky i have $65 in the first place

but in like 1 year or 2 i will be able to get a job

Can i get 2 cherry barbs then and what will i need to take out if i have this in the 10 gal:

1 platy
3 kuhlis
3 pygmy corys

I read at a website that Cherry Barbs are much more peaceful. OA says that they are not. He also says they'll nip the platy. I am getting all my info from this site, can you look at it and tell me if its credible?

Also, how much do these fish cost on average?

Captain Retardo, you won't be disappointed by having 3 kuhli loaches and 3 pygmy cories. Both of those small groups are extremely entertaining. The earlier suggestions you got are perfect for a 10 gallon and will keep the tank very active. B)
