What Kind Of Fish Are These?

100% Certain This is a Dojo/Weather Loach. Don't up their numbers, keep it alone, they don't mind, but khuli loaches do. Dojo loache get gigantic, so you wouldn't have enough room for a lot of them even if they did prefer company.
While I usually agree with you, onidrase, in this case you're wrong! I do agree that the OP doesn't have room for more, as they do get to about a foot long, but weather loachdo need company of their own kind; he really won't be happy on his own.

Look like glofish to me, which are basically dyed zebra danios. They should school with the other zebra danios if you get them, but I personally find the idea of glofish to be a bit dumb and cruel. How they come about is the eggs of zebra danios themselves are dyed different fancy colors, and then they give the fish a copywrite and sell them for outrageous prices like they're the next big thing.
Glofish aren't dyed, they're genetically modified, a totally different thing. The fish don't suffer in any way, so I'm not sure it can be considered 'cruel' as such. Whether you agree with GM or not is another matter...

Oh jeez  now I'm really wondering how big of a tank you'd need for happy dojo loaches  I've never seen them kept in tanks of more than 1 or 2, but I don't really see them kept either.

How I understood glofish is that they dye the eggs before they hatch. I find the trademark thing more cruel than the modification. Especially since the company that "made" them has a bunch of 1-2 gallon products with the glofish name slapped on which are supposedly specifically for the glofish themselves.

My best friend is slightly obsessed with weather loach; she keeps hers (I'm not sure how many she has now!) in a 6x1.5x1.5.

No, they have a gene for flourescent colour from either coral or jellyfish added to the embryo; no dye. I do agree with the marketeing of them though, not good :(

I'm actually getting pretty attached to my loach now. He's a cutie. ^_^

I was able to see one more of my fish tonight that I thought had died inside the rock or something! Guess he's nocturnal lol
He's a dark color, with a beige belly, and he's got some red on his gills. Sorry about the bad quality pictures. o_o
Can you all tell me what kind of fish this is?

That is a black khuli loach. Does best in groups of 5+. You can get these fairly cheap at most pet stores.

Yep, black khuli. Cute little guys. Get him some friends and you'll find them zooming around the tank during the day time now and then, as soon as they warm up to things. they'll be shy for a good while, and are the most skittish little guys I've ever seen.
