I saw these this morning in my room temperature tank with Danio erythomicrons, Danio margaritatus and Tanichthys albonubes. There are some pest snails in the tank too but these eggs don’t look like my usual pest snail eggs. The fish in this tank never produced fry in over 2 years.

Those fish are egg scatterers. Are they possibly just masses of bubbles?

Could be. But I have never seen that before. Water exchange was last Friday.

Looks like an accumulation of bubbles from the plants, and the surface doesn't have much agitation so the bubbles have allowed to congregate.

Plants let out tiny bubbles from damaged spots or from "pearling" with letting out excess oxygen into the water.

Thanks. I never knew about that.
