What Killi Would Be Best?

Right, I have a 18x12x12" tank. What would be a good species of Killi for this tank? (Bearing in mind I have NEVER kept Killis before)
I am deciding between Killis and a South/Central American oddball/cichlid tank, so the more stunning the Killi looks the more likely I am to go for it. Also one that is very easy/readily available to buy would be helpful.

Without keeping Killifish before I could only recommend a species for the novice, this would undoubtedly have to be
Fundulopanchax gardneri sp. There are many locational and collection codes some are more colourful in finnage than others. You could maybe combine these with Apistogramma species. Although not technically correct in terms of geographically biotopes, I have employed this set-up on occasion in the past with good results as the water parameters will suit both pretty well.
